Michael Chung is a Director of Renzo Tonin & Associates and is a professional engineer with 21 years of experience in acoustic consulting.

Michael achieved his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in 2000 from the University of Technology, Sydney. His undergraduate thesis involved research into the dynamic characteristics of an internal combustion engine.

Michael also completed his PhD in 2005 under a scholarship awarded by the University of Technology, Sydney and Ventracor Ltd through an Australian Research Council (ARC) grant. His PhD research involved the dynamic analysis of an artificial heart pump.

Michael has been involved with a range of acoustical projects. His responsibilities include environmental noise & vibration calculations and computer modelling, providing advice on the control of noise and vibration. He has successfully project managed or assisted on various projects.
Michael Gange is a Director of Renzo Tonin & Associates and is a professional engineer with over 22 years of experience in acoustic consulting.

During his professional career Michael has been involved with a diverse range of acoustical projects. His fields of special competence include large transport infrastructure projects, road traffic noise and pavements, environmental impact assessments, construction noise and vibration, building mechanical services and electrical substations.

His role as Director includes responsibilities such as delivery of large infrastructure projects, tender bids, client liaison, and staff management.

Paul Johnson is a Director of Renzo Tonin & Associates and is a professional engineer with over 29 years of experience in acoustic consulting.

Paul's field of special competence include environmental noise impact assessments, architectural acoustics, building services, BCA issues, large infrastructure projects, transportation noise (road, rail and aircraft), industrial noise, construction noise and vibration, occupational noise, structural vibration, acoustic research & development, and representation in legal cases.
Nicholas Peters is a Director of Renzo Tonin & Associates.
With more than 18 years experience in the field, Nicholas manages the VIC team to deliver a diverse range of acoustic projects; working closely with our clients to identify practical and cost effective noise mitigation and management strategies.
Dr. Tonin's belief that high technology acoustics and dynamics engineering should form part of every day consulting has found acceptance with many clients. This is reflected in a strong company growth rate from private practice in November 1982 to one of the largest consulting companies specialising in acoustics engineering today.

His sponsored studies encompass such diverse activities as radio and TV studios, commercial buildings, ships, motor vehicles, trains, industrial complexes, power stations, product development, material handling plant, machines health monitoring, coal washeries, public buildings and auditoria.
His special interest is in the use of computer technology to solve problems in the fields of acoustics and dynamics.

He is a contributing author to the book "Environmental Modelling" which is a publication designed to bring together current expertise on modelling of the environment using computer based techniques.

His doctorial thesis addressed the use of laser 3D holography for the study of vibration. A distinguished international journal honoured his work in this field by presenting one of his papers as a featured article.
